mrbbaskerville is otherwise known as Dr Bruce Baskerville, BA Hons WAust, PhD Sydney, Dip FHS, MPHA, FFAHS.
I am a freelance, independent public historian currently based in New South Wales (previously Norfolk Island and priorly Western Australia). I recently graduated a Doctor of Philosophy from the University of Sydney after researching and writing a cultural history of the Crown and its divisibility in Australia. I have worked in the cultural heritage field for over 20 years.

I was awarded a Royal Australian Historical Society Certificate of Merit in 1996, a Centenary of Federation Medal in 2002, and was elected a Fellow of the Federation of Australian Historical Societies in 2011.
I undertaken commissions as a heraldic consultant.
